Abstract A Fe‐catalyzed C5‐H benzylation reaction of 8‐amidoquinoline amides has been developed by employing cheap, abundant benzylic acetates as benzyl sources. This method showcases excellent functional group compatibility and is applicable for gram‐scale synthesis or late‐stage diversification. Thus it provides an easy access to the corresponding C5‐benzylated quinoline derivatives.
