Silicalite‐1 (S‐1) nanoparticles (80∼200 nm) were controlled to grow on the silica nano‐film of macroporous silica monoliths (MSMs) in situ by crystallization of the silica xerogel under steaming. The MSMs not only improve the dispersibility and adsorption capacity of S‐1 nanoparticles due to their continuous pass‐through macropores, but also overcome the problem of separation difficulty by their monolithic character. The S‐1 nanoparticles strengthen the mechanical strength of MSMs by local thickening of the silica nano‐film. The mesopores etched on the silica nano‐film during crystallization under steaming give convenience for molecule transmission.
