This study reports an efficient synthesis of 3‐(5,6‐dihydropyrazinyliden)‐1 H ‐indol‐2‐ones via one‐pot, two step procedure between triethylammonium thiolates, methyl iodide and ethylenediamine in DMF (dimethylformamide) under ultrasound irradiation. Short reaction time and a simple procedure are among the benefits of this reaction.
