A Pd/C catalysed facile and practical preparation of diaryl‐substituted norbornenes has been developed. Under mild conditions, a range of disubstituted norbornenes and norbornanes have been prepared in good to useful yields. These norbornene analogues have shown to be good additives for speeding up the reaction as well as for the efficient preparation of bis‐alkylated benzamides.
