In this paper, a catalyst‐free procedure is described for the synthesis of novel carboxamide derivatives through a one pot five‐component reaction of cycloalkylidene‐substituted Meldrum's acid, alkyl isocyanide, and 4,4′‐methylene‐ or 4,4′‐oxydianiline. Any by‐product was not prepared through this reaction, and products were separated by a simple work‐up procedure. The other noticeable benefits of this procedure are good yields, mild reaction conditions and use of available materials.
