Three inorganic‐organic iodoargentate hybrids, {[MBI][AgI 2 ]} n ( 1 ) (MBI + = N , N′ ‐dimethylbenzimidazolium), {[MPy][AgI 2 ]} n ( 2 ) and {[MPy][Ag 2 I 3 ]} n ( 3 ) (MPy + = N ‐methylpyridinium) have been synthesized, which exhibit structure‐dependent photoresponse and unique photochromic behavior based on photolytic mechanism.
