An efficient chromatography free one‐pot three‐component approach for the synthesis of 2‐amino‐5‐isatinylidenethiazol‐4‐one derivatives has been described by the reaction of substituted isatins, rhodanine and amines under environment benevolent condition. The reaction is facilitated in presence of heterogeneous ZnFe 2 O 4 catalyst. The ZnFe 2 O 4 catalyst has been synthesised and the catalyst has been thoroughly characterized by X‐ray Diffraction (XRD), High‐Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM), N 2 ‐adsorption and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analysis.
