An efficient catalytic system has been developed for the oxidation of atrazine with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) nanoparticles in organic solvents as well as in ionic liquids to yield N‐dealkylated products selectively. The superior oxidation efficacy and regioselectivity was observed in neutral and non‐coordinating ionic liquid [bmim][PF 6 ].
