An efficient and one‐pot synthesis of dihydropyridine derivatives using acid‐activated and cation‐exchanged montmorillonite catalysts under solvent‐free microwave irradiation conditions was described. The green, non‐corrosive, non‐toxic, and stable in air catalysts could be easily recycled and re‐used without loss of catalytic activity.
