Organic‐inorganic TiO 2 /β‐cyclodextrin composite was synthesized through orienting hydrolysis of tetrabutyl titanate on the hydrophilic faces of β‐cyclodextrin vesicles with the assistance of trace water. The composite has a double‐ring structure, in which β‐cyclodextrin comprises the inner ring and TiO 2 makes up the outer ring. The TiO 2 /β‐cyclodextrin composite with an “empty” inner ring was observed for the first time and it showed photodegradation performance of BPA under visible light irradiation.
