An unprecedented heterogeneous catalysis in the decarboxylative coupling of α ‐oxocarboxylic acids is developed. A novel copper‐containing magnetic catalyst was synthesized by introducing copper into calcium fluorapatite encapsulated iron oxide. This catalyst led to the synthesis of α ‐ketoamides with a promising TON exceeding 1200.
