A concise and practical approach for synthesis of 2,5‐disubstituted oxazole has been developed via a TsOH( p ‐Methylbenzene sulfonic acid)/I 2 ‐mediated tandem dehydrogenation oxidative cyclization of phenylacetylene and benzylamine. Desired products in high yields have been obtained.
