An efficient, environmentally benign and inexpensive route to the synthesis of a series of novel substituted pyrazol‐yl‐pyrazolone methanes has been developed via a one‐pot pseudo five‐component cyclocondensation of aromatic aldehydes, ethyl acetoacetate and phenyl hydrazine catalyzed by FeSO 4 ⋅7H 2 O in aqueous medium. The single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction was obtained for two of the derivatives. Our approach, in comparison with other reported methods is noteworthy, as it offers several advantages, such as shorter reaction time, higher yields, mild conditions, is expeditious and clean. We have herein successfully demonstrated a perfect synergy for eco‐compatible organic synthesis.
