A simple and efficient one‐pot four‐component protocol for the synthesis of pyrano[2,3‐ c ]pyrazole derivatives has been demonstrated using recyclable ionic liquids as green catalysts under mild condition. This is a green and general synthetic protocol which could be applicable to a wide range of carbonyl compounds including aromatic/aliphatic aldehydes, aliphatic ketones, isatins, acenaphthenequinone and ninhydrin. All the reactions are very fast and high‐yielding. The desired products are easily separated and purified by simple crystallization. The catalysts can be recycled six times without significant activity loss.
