2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th generations of hyperbranched dendrimers of azido and 1,2,3‐triazoles have been synthesized from polyol hyperbranched dendrimers. Azides and 1,2,3‐triazoles are peripheral groups that scaffold these molecules. These molecules have been synthesized by three simple steps under mild conditions: tosylation, azidation and 1,3‐dipolar addition (Click) reaction. Further, we have examined thermal, photophysical properties and have performed anti‐microbial studies. For dendritic esters having 16, 32 & 64 azido groups, sharp decomposition and high heat liberation was observed at temperature above 200 °C. Similarly, triazole dendritic esters possessed high enthalpy and high stability upto 300 o C. Some dendritic esters exhibited good anti‐bacterial properties against gram positive and negative bacteria.
