Aggregation‐induced emissive properties of an environment sensitive 2,3‐Napthalimide based intramolecular charge‐transfer dye in water at neutral pH has been investigated. Further, a reversible tuning of aggregation‐induced optical properties using Cyclodextrin encapsulation is presented. This method has the potential for tuning the optical properties of other chromophoric molecules by varying the cavity size of macrocyclic host molecule.
