The He(I) photoelectron spectra are reported of lidocaine (ω‐diethylamino‐2,6‐dimethylacetanilide) in the form of the free base, the hydrochloride, the ω‐ N ‐methyl halides and the ω‐ N ‐methyl hydrogen sulphate as surface films on liquid solutions.
