X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy investigations of Ni(L CH 3 ) 3 (Piv) 2 ( 1), [Ni(L CH 3 ) 2 ] 2 (Piv) 2 ) ( 2 ) , and [Ni(L CH 3 ) 2 ] 2 (CH 3 COO) 2 ] ( 3 ) complexes, where L CH3 —k 2 ‐1,2‐diamino‐4,5‐dimethylbenzene‐bis(k 1 ‐diamino‐4,5‐dimethylbenzene) and Piv—(CH 3 ) 3 CCOO, are reported and discussed. The photoelectron spectra are sensitive to the temperature of the samples and evidence on structural conformations.
