The adsorption behavior of a sulfur‐containing amino acid molecule on a transition metal surface has been investigated in the bio‐catalytic and surface reaction fields. For a liquid sample there are many difficulties in x‐ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurement in the soft x‐ray energy region. In this study we have constructed a new XAFS measurement system with He‐path and Be window at soft x‐ray beamline (BL‐3) at the Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center (HSRC).
