Abstract This paper proposes a novel pixel circuit that uses only p‐channel low‐temperature polycrystalline silicon thin‐film transistors (LTPS‐TFTs) to compensate deviation of threshold voltage of OLED‐driving TFTs. The proposed pixel circuit consists of five switching TFTs, one OLED‐driving TFT, and two capacitors. SmartSpice simulation results show that the proposed 6T2C pixel circuit can realize uniform OLED current with high immunity to the threshold voltage deviation of OLED driving poly‐Si TFT.
