This paper focuses on the influence of metal mesh design on the optical characteristics of OGM products’ transmittance and haze. The metal proportion is used to characterize the mesh design. Firstly, the linear relationship between transmittance, haze and the mesh metal proportion is deduced theoretically. Then design experiments to verify the theory. The results show that transmittance and haze of OGM have a linear relationship with the metal proportion, which is consistent with the theoretical deduction. At the same time, it is verified that the design space and line width of the metal mesh have a significant effect on the metal proportion, and the angle has no obvious effect. The above research provides great convenience for the product design with high transmittance and low haze.
