A 23.8” FHD LCD with super higher contrast ratio of 3:1 has been developed by using a newly‐designed dual cell structure both with the same resolution and an optical compensation algorithm, it improves the contrast ratio into million levels as well as optimizes the moiré, uniformity of the viewing angle and ghost image. Based on the super higher contrast ratio, good and uniform image performance, it has been applied to the advanced medical diagnostic products.
