The key points of Fingerprint on LCDs system are to solve the problem of brightness reduction and unequal visual effect caused by the new NITS film. Mainly, this project of FoD system study the improvement of brightness, optimization of visual effect and adaptation of machine structure in two aspects of the PNL and module. Through repeated verifications, it achieved the goals of TLCM brightness=Typ.450 nit, FRR < 2% and FAR < 1/50000(Table 1), which can launch the fingerprint on LCDs products. Finally, based on the existing design, there are some improvement suggestions to put forward to higher TLCM color gamut, so as to accumulate experience for the next generation of FoD product.
