Unequal brightness gain between LCM (Liquid Crystal Module) and BLU (Back Light Unit) in LCDs(Liquid Crystal Display) is described when APF(Advanced Polarizer Film) film is applied. The loss of light in multiple reflections between APF and reflector leads to the unequal brightness gain. APF cooperates with higher r parameter films in BLU will give more rise to brightness improvement of LCDs.
