A period control method of liquid crystal polarization grating is demonstrated, which is based on the polarization modulation of the exposure beam and can be realized by changing the angle parameters in the exposure setup. This method has the advantages in compact structure, high flexibility and good robustness. It provides a new choice for the fabrication of diffractive elements used in VR/AR optical systems.
