In curved liquid crystal display, the glass substrate is in the state of bending, and the bending stress is generated inside the glass. Under the effect of stress photoelastic effect, the display will produce light leakage, which is called stress‐Mura. Based on the theory of stress photoelasticity and the finite element analysis of panel forming, this paper deduces the light leakage intensity of curved LCD (liquid crystal display) by using the Jones matrix, and puts forward a scheme to improve the design of curved curvature of LCD, which is verified by experiments.
