A large‐area optical fingerprint recognition scheme under LCD screen is proposed. The design scheme of the light source is described in detail, and its reliability is verified according to the measured results. In order to improve the fingerprint recognition, a collimating optical path based on micro‐lens array is proposed. The collimating optical path was designed by Zemax and LightTools.
