Being aware that the battery life of optical see‐through HMDs is critical, we propose an energy‐efficient rendering scheme for laser‐beam‐scanning‐typed optical see‐through HMDs with color contrast enhancement. Experiments show that our design improves the distinction between virtual objects and the surrounding background and noticeably saves display power consumption.
