A fully monolithic approach is presented for Gallium Nitride (GaN) micro light emitting diode (µLED) displays to solve a number of persistent issues in the space. Novel integration allows for simple, low cost, monolithic integration of active‐matrix circuits along with peripheral control circuitry for µLED displays.
