Micro Light Emitting Diode (µLED) emissive displays have emerged as promising solution for low power mobile displays. Here, we propose a new structurefor red (for example) light emitter composed of a blue µLED, a quantum dot (QD) film, a passivation film, and a metamirror that is reflective to blue light and is transmissive to red light. We present a design and analysis of such structure based on analytical modeling. The proposed architecture enables power efficient µLED displays.
