A 142″ʺ active matrix miniLED tiled display with a pitch size of 1.6 mm has been developed by using IGZO TFT glass backplanes. In this work, a uniform threshold voltage(V th ) of the driving TFTs is optimized through external compensation; the tiled screen which is composed of 160 11‐inch panels is corrected by a multi‐layer demura algorithm and finally exhibits a uniform luminance and a wide color gamut characteristics as 90% and 113% in National Television System Committee (NTSC) 1931, respectively; every 11‐inch panel is bezel‐less, so the diagonal size and resolution of the tiled screen could be adjustable from 142″ʺ 2K to 568″ʺ8K.
