We have successfully developed a novel brightest transparent screen using diffraction and scattering of light by tilted cholesteric liquid crystals suit for rear‐projection. It controls the direction of projector light to realize both high transparency and brightness. We expect that it could expand AR imaging applications for stores and vehicles.
