The impact of human fingertip on automotive displays involves a complicated tribological movement namely touch, zoom and swipe. All these 3 motions generate a non linear dynamic mechanical and chemical impact. Proper simulation tests have been performed and further quantitative evaluation is given for the imperceptible abrasion damage on the display.
