In this work, we proposed a fast‐switchable quasi‐continuous grating (Fibonacci grating) as the scattering device for viewing angle control. The viewing angle varies from nearly 0 to 30 degrees. The proposed device requires a relatively small driving voltage (<10 V), and shows a fast response time (<7 ms), comparing with traditional scattering devices such as high retardation film, polymer dispersed liquid crystal and polymer network liquid crystal, etc. The proposed device shows promising potential in controllable viewing angle and wavefront coding.
