A liquid crystal Dammann grating film is designed and fabricated for eyebox expansion in Maxwellian view near‐eye displays. By inserting the Dammann grating into the Maxwellian view system, we show that full color operation and enlarged eyebox are achieved, while keeping the system compact and lightweight.
