In this paper we present a novel algorithm for compensating OLED luminance drop at first frame. It is due to the unexpected residual voltage from previous frame and IR‐drop of ELVDD power. Our method without complex TFT driving circuits so that the proposed algorithm is easily implemented to driver IC for different panels. Experimental results show that this algorithm enhances the luminance at first frame and reducing temporary image sticking issue.
