Recently, due to the advantages in the aspects of larger viewing angle, lower space cost and better visual match with the vehicle interiors, curved display has gained its large popularity in automotive display, whereas Black Matrix(BM) which is used to light shading will shift when flat panel is bonded with the curved cover lens, which will cause light leakage and other optical issues. In the case that little is known about how to determinate the exact compensation value of BM without measuring. In this paper, we propose a method to identify the optimum compensation value of BM in condition of different curvature radius and thickness of panel which can avoid overcompensating or insufficient compensating by using finite element analysis.
