In stereoscopic display, when the color stimulation of left eye and right eye exceeds a certain range of acceptance, binocular rivalry will occur, and the stimulation of left eye and right eye will alternately occur during the viewing process, thus causing discomfort in viewing. This is a common problem in stereoscopic display pictures and video production. In this paper, we conducted an experiment to measure the color fusion limit in an autostereoscopic display. In the L * a * b * chromaticity diagram, the binocular fusion limits of different opposite color directions are measured. The results show that the limit of binocular fusion is larger in RY‐GB.
