There are some important attributes influencing image quality of the laser projection television, such as white level, black level, color saturation, and contour rendering. In this paper, just noticeable differences of these four attributes are measured by the method of the two alternative forced choice with the staircase method of 1 up 2 down. The similarities and differences of just noticeable differences of the four attributes between laser projection television and liquid crystal display are compared and analyzed. Based on experimental results, a subjective image quality evaluation model can be established, which is helpful for the optimization of image quality.
