Herein, we have successfully improved color washout of VA mode TFT‐LCDs by a delicate regulation of LCS and ∆nd. Among them, view angle compensation (VAC) algorithm not only remarkably alleviates color washout and but also facilitates to maintain a high Tr% of 5.6% for LCD panels with 8‐domain pixel structure.
