Adding aspherical phase‐plates to HMD has been proposed to reduce the visual fatigue caused by vergence‐accommodation conflict. The phase‐plates enlarge the DOF of virtual images to facilitate accommodation variation. DOF was measured and subjective evaluation using SSQ was conducted.
