Physico‐realistic simulations of a vehicle display are presented. Its emissive properties are measured using an EZContrast Fourier optics instrument to obtain the behavior of every red, blue, and green sub‐pixels at various levels versus emissive angles. Spectral BRDF of the display surface at several incidence angles is also measured with the same instrument. Photo‐realistic simulations of the display taking into account the spectral content and polarization state of the light emitted and reflected by the display is then obtained in interactive‐time.
