In this study, cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) are integrated with quantum dot color conversion (QDCC) display to increase the light efficiency. The CLC structure is designed to selectively reflect the blue excitation light, and thus the green emission from the perovskite quantum dots (QDs) is enhanced. An improvement of luminance by 21% is achieved.
