In this work, new barrier fabrication method is proposed to make the barrier layer for blocking the permeation of an oxygen and water and for improving the flexibility. To do this, infiltration technology is implemented to fabricate an in/organic hybrid thin barrier layer for flexible OLED displays. In/organic hybrid layer shows the good WVTR property (~10‐5 g/m2·day), the flexibility after a folding test and the good reliability for the life time test. From the results, this method can be applied to flexible OLED displays for improving the performance.
