Super multiview displays generally support only a small range of viewpoints. We describe a view‐dependent light‐field display approach that combines custom optics, eye position tracking, a high‐density display and a directional backlight to provide full parallax and a 3D volume from which a viewer can see 3D objects with accommodation.
