We present a high‐performing polarizing beam splitter for augmented reality applications using newly developed 3M™ Polarized Beam Splitter (PBS) film. It has very low light leaks which are largely independent of light incident side. At the same time, high efficiency is maintained with 96% transmission and 98% reflection integrated over an f/2 cone. Comparisons are made to a wire‐grid PBS.
