A data‐line‐centered (DLC) pixel design is constructed to improve transmittance and picture quality. The interaction between the adjacent sub‐pixels prompts a superior LC alignment comparable to the conventional design. The narrowed cross dark fringe can contribute to the modification of skin color shift. Strategy for vertical cross‐talk risk is also presented and theoretically proven to be effective. Consequently, an expected improvement can be realized under the DLC design.
