Inorganic cesium lead bromide perovskite nanorods were synthesized using a facile room temperature approach under ambient conditions. Simple tuning of the ligands was demonstrated to produce a wide range of different morphologies, allowing the optical anisotropy to be tuned. Nanorods with a higher aspect ratio and more uniform width produced the highest optical anisotropy.
