DCI‐P3 color space for digital movie projection is replacing Adobe RGB color space in Wide Color Gamut (WCG) monitor market. Nano‐IPS technology can achieve DCI‐P3 color space by using new advanced phosphors which can enlarge red and green color coordinates in LED backlight unit. This technology does not need to use WCG color filter panel, but need to use general high transmittance color filter panel.
