Automotive interior lighting will evolve towards 1,000+ of RGB LEDs providing display‐like orchestrated effects and living room feeling. This paper deals with “pixelated” contour lights in terms of a new automotive RGB LED system as well as advanced uniformity evaluation using the Contrast Sensitivity Function.
